Makes enough for 2-3 smoothies depending on the size of glass or bowl you use
RECIPE
1 large banana or 3/4 cup frozen packed banana
1 good handful each of spinach and kale leaves
2 sprigs of parsley
1 sprig of fresh basil
2 sprigs fresh mint leaves
2 large medjool dates pitted , or dates of choice
4 brazil nuts, optional
1/2 a ripe avocado, for creaminess
500ml coconut water or liquid of choice
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE PARTICULAR INGREDIENTS REPLACE WITH WHAT YOU HAVE AVAILABLE
METHOD
*Prepare greens by washing and removing stalks, then chop into small pieces
*Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until silky smooth and creamy
*Use more or less liquid depending how thick you want your smoothie
*Pour into a tall glass and enjoy or alternatively serve in a bowl and add your favourite topping
